The castle of Montegridolfo,
placed in Alta Valconca
on the border between the provinces of Rimini and
Pesaro/Urbino
was one of the last van of the Malatesta towands of the
Montefeltro.
It has been built as emplacement of sight but also as
fortification
to defend the olive-plantations of the zone, that the
Malatesta
have planted on the slopes of the hills.
Same of this plsnts has been purchased 1997 from Renzi
G.
(nearly 250 of fifferent coregiolo) to characterize the
property
of nearly 3 hectare for a totale of 500 olive-trees more
than hundred years old,
that presents the diamond-point ot the whole production.
